Hello everyone!
The long-awaited "Apartment Events Update" has officially arrived... and it is now live in "soft launch" format!
So what does "soft launch" actually mean? Simple - we need your help. Jump in, explore everything, and let us know what feels off. There may still be a few bugs hiding around, and your feedback will help us polish this system into something truly special.
This is just the beginning. We already have plans to expand the system with features like badge progress tracking, monthly activity rewards, and more. Expect this to grow and evolve over time.
For now, dive in, have fun, and enjoy everything that is new. If you run into anything strange, please report it in the "#bug-reports" channel on Discord.

The Events Machine
This is where it all begins. The Events Machine is your hub for creating and managing events. Want to host a game? Go for it. Want to run a chill hangout? Easy. Game events reward Sunrise Tokens, which you can spend in Helga's shop.
Events Machine Interface
Browse upcoming events, create your own, check past results, and learn how everything works. It is all right here, clean and simple. If you want the full run-down, click on the little "i" icon in the top left of the interface - everything you'll ever need to know about apartment events lives there.
Event Participation
Selected as a participant? You will see a game controller icon above your avatar. Once the event begins, your activity is tracked and rewarded. Hosting and participating is the best way to earn Sunrise Tokens, so get involved! Remember, you won't accrue time if you're AFK, so make sure to be active and participate properly.
Hosting and Participation Badges
Every event counts. Hosting and participating earns you badges, with multiple levels all the way up to level 10. Some of Helga's rarer items are badge locked, so if you want the good stuff, you will need to earn it. Who'll get level 10 first!?
Helga is Here
Helga has officially arrived. Talk to her to access her shop, check your Sunrise Token balance, and view the monthly "Apartments Leaderboard". She also has a few opinions and can be pretty sassy... so maybe stay on her good side!
Helga's Shop
Now that Helga has a shop, you can buy items from Helga using the Sunrise Tokens that you get from hosting or participating in events. There's already a great selection of starter items, but more and more will be added to Helga's shop over time. Think teleporters, scoreboards, special interactive items like voting booths, guestbooks and so much more! This is just the beginning.
Apartment Leaderboard
Compete for a spot on the monthly "Apartments Leaderboard". Rankings are based on likes, favorites, visits, and time spent in your room. The top 3 apartments each month earn rewards that are well worth the effort. You can click on the "How to rank?" button for all of the details. Time to get building and hosting!
Holoprints
"Apartment Leaderboard" winners receive exclusive Holoprints, along with Sunrise Tokens and a special badge. Each position has its own unique reward. Want one? Time to create something people will love and interact with.
Likes and Favorites
You can now like and favorite apartments. Doing so earns you pixels (XP) and helps decide the leaderboard rankings. You can access these options from the bottom-left UI or via the elevator. Favorited rooms are saved in the elevator interface for easy access later! This makes going to your favorite rooms super easy.
Kicking and Banning
Your apartment, your rules. You can now kick or ban players if needed. Manage everything through the "More Info" panel inside your room (bottom-left panel) and keep your space exactly how you want it! Now you can keep the riff-raff out and the good vibes rolling!
New Camera Controls
Mobile players, this one is for you. Free look mode lets you move the camera independently of your character, so you can explore your surroundings with ease. Tap again to snap back. Simple, smooth, and very handy.
