Halloween Room Building Competition 2025

• Your room must follow the Halloween theme and may include items from any shop, including the Gem Shop, Coin Shop or NPC Shops.

• All room designs must be original. Using pre-existing rooms or copying other players' designs is strictly prohibited.

• Only one entry per player is allowed - make it count!

• Submit your room name through the form. It will be linked to your entry internally to ensure anonymous judging - please ensure the room name is unique and creative to avoid clashing with another players room..

• Do not post your submission publicly in Discord during the competition period. This prevents idea theft and ensures fairness. Any submissions posted early will be removed. Don't worry - all entries will be showcased at the end of the event!

Relevance to Theme

How well the room represents the Halloween theme using the available furniture and environmental effects.

Creativity and Originality

How unique, imaginative, and inspired the design feels compared to standard Halloween builds.

Design and Layout

The flow, structure, and balance of the room layout, including furniture placement and overall composition.

Attention to Detail

The level of precision in decoration - every small item, placement, and accent should enhance the overall design.

Atmosphere

The overall mood, ambiance, and immersiveness - how effectively the room creates a spooky, eerie, or mysterious feeling.

All entries will be submitted through a form and assigned a unique ID. Judges will not see who submitted each entry until after winners are chosen, ensuring completely unbiased judging.

Judging Process

Each category is scored out of 6 points. In the event of a tie, the following methods will be applied in order:

• Judge Consensus: Judges discuss and agree on which tied entry stands out the most.

• Weighted Criteria Review: "Relevance to Theme" carries the most weight, followed by "Creativity and Originality", then "Design and Layout".

• Additional Judge Vote: A new judge may be brought in to review only the tied entries and cast a final vote.

• Public Vote: If necessary, the community may vote via an anonymous poll in-game or on Discord using the unique entry IDs.

• Split Prize: If all else fails, prizes may be shared among tied winners.

All judging decisions are final. While creativity is subjective, all entries will be evaluated fairly and respectfully. Every participant's effort is valued and will be recognised.
